Liberty Global Completes the Sale of Its French Cable Operation
DENVER, July 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Liberty Global, Inc. ("Liberty Global") (NASDAQ:LBTYA)(NASDAQ:LBTYB)(NASDAQ:LBTYK) announced today that it has completed the previously announced sale of 100% of its French cable business ("UPC France"). UPC France was sold to Altice and Cinven for euro 1.25 billion (approximately US$1.57 billion) in cash.
