DLP Cinema(R) Projectors Selected for All 130 Kinepolis Cinema Screens in Belgium; First European Exhibitor With Exclusive DLP Cinema Deal

DALLAS, July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas Instruments (NYSE:TXN) (TI) today announced that Kinepolis Cinema has chosen DLP Cinema(R) technology as the exclusive digital projection technology for their screens in Belgium. Kinepolis Cinema is a Brussels-based operator with 22 complexes and 309 screens in Belgium, France, Spain, Poland and Switzerland; and more than 22.6 million cinemagoers visited Kinepolis in 2005. Europe's first all-digital projection complex will be in Bruges, Belgium.

DLP Cinema projectors from Barco will be installed at all Kinepolis Cinema theatres throughout Belgium. The installation of 130 DLP Cinema projectors is scheduled to be complete by 2007.
