The band's fourth studio album, "The Sufferer & the Witness" scanned an impressive 48,397 units it's first week of release, coming in with #1 sales in key markets such as Los Angeles, Denver, San Diego, and Salt Lake City, and rounding out in the top 5 in Phoenix, Las Vegas, Chicago, Buffalo and Tampa. This marks the band's highest chart debut.

Rise Against is comprised of vocalist Tim McIlrath, bassist Joe Principe, drummer Brandon Barnes and guitarist Chris Chasse.
