Orpheus streamlines the process of adapting music to exact specifications while maintaining the low cost and ease-of-use of a traditional music library. The system maximizes the presentational impact of both foreground music and underscoring, which enhances project quality without increasing budget demands.

Orpheus generates music "made-to-order" without the expense and hassle of hiring a composer. It allows users to set exact cue lengths up to ten minutes, choose their own instrumentation, add ambiance effects, and place custom "hits." Once satisfied with the sound and feel of their cues, users can immediately download free, high-resolution previews to audition for their clients.
