President of Rentrak's Advanced Media & Information Division to Present 'Supply Chain Business Intelligence' at Entertainment Supply Chain Academy
PORTLAND, Ore., June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Allan McLennan, President of Rentrak's Advanced Media & Information Division (AMID) will give a presentation titled "Supply Chain Business Intelligence" during the first annual Entertainment Supply Chain Academy (ESCA) luncheon at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles on June 21, 2006.
McLennan will discuss the evolution of media intelligence gathering within the media and entertainment sector and the importance of their customers' access to data that allows both timely and in-depth analysis of product across each of the windows (theatrical box office, rental, VOD, and retail sell through). He will also discuss how enhanced ASP-based software technology is allowing customers to integrate traditional supply chain management of physical product (warehouse management, order capture, financial settlement) with analytical capabilities.
