City becomes eighth community served with HickoryTech's triple-play offering

MANKATO, Minn., June 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- HickoryTech Corporation (NASDAQ:HTCO) announced that it has added Digital TV to the list of communications products and services already available to the residents of Lake Crystal. The Lake Crystal City Council overwhelmingly approved a cable television franchise agreement on June 19 and Digital TV services will be available to the entire community beginning July 24. Residents can subscribe to services on a stand-alone basis or as part of a money-saving bundle, making HickoryTech the first and only company to offer the Lake Crystal community Digital TV, high-speed DSL, local telephone, and long distance all from one local company - on one bill. To introduce residents to HickoryTech's Digital TV services, a family-oriented neighborhood "Party in the Park" event is scheduled for Aug. 1.
