ITV Play Selects Limelight Delivery Platform for its First Streaming TV Channel in the UK

- Leveraging Limelight's Content Delivery Network, ITV Play Becomes
the First ITV Channel to be Streamlined Live on the Internet

Limelight Networks, the world's leading content delivery network for
digital media, today announced it has been selected by ITV plc, a leading
U.K. media company, as the platform for delivering ITV Play live on the
internet. ITV Play is ITV's brand of interactive content across its broadcast
channels: late night slots on ITV1 and ITV2 alongside a recently launched
dedicated ITV Play channel on Freeview channel 35 as well as mobile and
online. Leveraging the high-capacity Limelight platform, the ITV Play channel
is also accessible through the dedicated portal on ITV.com. This is the first
ITV channel to be offered via live internet streaming; it is also ITV's first
non advertising-funded channel.

programmes include The Mint and This Morning Puzzle Book. Friends Reunited
