Lighthouse Equips the Hong Kong Sevens 2006 with Large LED Video Displays

HONG KONG, April 19 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Fans of the world's premier Rugby Sevens Tournament held in Hong Kong earlier this week were kept fully entertained thanks to two Lighthouse LED video screens which were installed at key spectator sites.

This year marks the 30th year anniversary of the tournament in Hong Kong. As an official partner of the Hong Kong Sevens 2006 held between March 31 and April 2, Lighthouse was delighted to supply its state-of-the-art video technology at tournament venues both in and around the stadium.

The first screen, an impressive 8 metre wide x 8 metre high Lighthouse R16 was perfectly positioned in the North Stand of Hong Kong Stadium, and in turn helped to dramatically improve visual enjoyment of the action from every part of the arena.

In contrast a second screen, a Lighthouse R10 measuring 20 square metres was erected at the Indian Recreation Club (IRC) which, as part of the Rugby Seven's Village, enabled fans unable to purchase tickets for the tournament the opportunity to experience the matches on the big screen.
