New on-Q Publish Suite Enables Advertisers, Programmers and Operators to Localize and Continuously Refresh Content

Ensequence also announced that Cox Communications, the third-largest cable provider in the United States, is the first U.S. customer to license on-Q Publish, which is now commercially available. Ensequence will demonstrate the software April 9-11, 2006 at booth 2113 at The National Show in Atlanta.

The first multi-platform interactive TV authoring software suite, on-Q Publish allows content to be updated regardless of whether it was initially created using XML, HTML/Java Script, the Ensequence on-Q Create suite or other commercially available interactive TV authoring tools. on-Q Publish features a user-friendly Web interface that enables non-technical production personnel to refresh, update and maintain existing interactive TV applications without requiring knowledge of the technology, deployment details or broadcast environment. This makes it easier than ever to localize interactive content for advertisements, sporting events, game shows, real-time voting and enhanced TV applications.

The on-Q Publish suite is fully integrated with the Ensequence on-Q Air and on-Q Ready software suites, enabling live applications to be updated with dynamic data. The suite contains two tools: on-Q Editor and the on-Q Editor Eclipse Plugin. The on-Q Editor Web interface allows authors to enter and edit their interactive TV applications, while the on-Q Editor Eclipse Plugin enables them to create new projects from any source. on-Q Editor allows authors to manage templates for commonly updated applications, which minimizes the amount of testing and recertification required for new episodes or campaigns.
