Robert Sachs, Ken Goldman and Lloyd Carney bring more than 75 years of cumulative experience with leading public and private companies in software, networking and cable

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., April 18 /PRNewswire/ -- BigBand Networks, Inc., a leading provider of broadband multimedia infrastructure for video, voice and data, today announced the appointments of Robert Sachs, Ken Goldman and Lloyd Carney to the company's board of directors. The new members bring to the board a combination of backgrounds with expertise in operations, finance, public policy, development and corporate strategy at leading cable, networking and broadband access spaces companies.

Mr. Sachs has also held executive positions with Continental Cablevision and MediaOne.

Previous to that, he was COO and executive vice president of Juniper Networks, and also held executive positions at Nortel Networks and Bay Networks.
