Staind Set to Lead the Jagermeister Music Tour! Three Days Grace and Hurt to Add Muscle!
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y., March 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The Jagermeister Music Tour, one of hard rock's most anticipated events of the year, is set to charge into its fifth year. The Spring 2006 Tour features multi-platinum rockers Staind. Three Days Grace and Hurt will add thunder to the coming storm, set to strike on April 20th in McAllen, Texas.
Chapter V (Flip/Atlantic), the fifth album from Staind, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 upon its release last summer, marking the Massachusetts- based band's third consecutive chart-topper. The album -- which includes three radio classics in the #1 smash, "Right Here," the top ten Rock/Active Rock track "Falling," and the latest single, "Everything Changes" -- follows 2003's critically acclaimed 14 Shades of Grey and 2001's quintuple platinum Break the Cycle, both of which also entered the Billboard 200 in the #1 spot.
"We've heard Staind on the radio for years and really love their music," says Rick Zeiler, Director of Marketing and Brand Development at Sidney Frank Importing Co., Inc., the importers of Jagermeister. "Having them headline the Jagermeister Music Tour is a thrill!"
"We're definitely excited to be playing the Jager tour," says Staind's Aaron Lewis. "It's a huge deal for serious hard rock fans and we're looking forward to giving them a show to remember."
The platinum selling Canadian trio Three Days Grace is just coming off their huge hit "(I Hate) Everything About You." Their new album, One X (Jive Records), is full of the intense confessionals of singer Adam Gontier, and what it took for him to rise above adversity to overcome his inner demons.
Capitol Records' newest rock phenoms, Hurt, are releasing their debut album, Hurt Vol. 1 just in time for the Tour. Raised in a strict religious house where rock was forbidden, singer J. Loren has now embraced the genre. With influences like Tool, Nirvana, and early Metallica, Loren and his band rip through songs like "Rapture," a soaring song about the twisted logic that religious zeal can engender.
Hosted by Lizard Man, the reptilian stuntman-showman, each show will be rounded out by a Jagermeister-sponsored band. Now in its fifth year, the Jagermeister Music Tour is bigger and bolder than ever, becoming THE hard rock show to see. Produced by Live Nation, past Tours have brought Disturbed, Slayer, Slipknot, Hatebreed, Saliva, hed P.E., Drowning Pool, and Ill Nino to the masses, and now the Tour continues its hard rock charge.
For about 30 bucks, fans will get the chance to see some of the biggest acts in rock and receive some of the sweetest swag around, including great Jagermeister prizes and giveaways like the Jagermeister Compilation CDs with live and unreleased tracks from Jagermeister bands as well as plenty of Jagermeister shirts, hats, and more. Other prizes and giveaways from sponsors include custom tour prizes from Schecter Guitars, Peavey Electronics, and Coffin Case. Also, the first 300 fans through the doors at each show will receive a free Tour program guide from Volume Magazine*.
The Jagermeister Music Tour will be advertised in print and on radio. For more information, check out www.JagermeisterMusicTour.com. Tickets on sale soon! Get ready to rock!
