The announcement of the senior management appointments was made today by Lord Clive Hollick, Chairman of the SBS Board of Directors.

In making the announcement, Lord Hollick said: "In view of SBS's varied businesses and focus on further developing synergies and driving growth across operating groups, SBS will clearly benefit from the promotion of Patrick Tillieux and Manfred Aronsson to more senior management roles. Both are seasoned managers, with proven leadership skills and extensive experience in a wide range of broadcasting activities."

"Patrick has amply demonstrated his impressive operational capabilities and has excellent relationships with advertisers, program suppliers and the creative community across Europe. Patrick understands the intricacies of managing media businesses in various markets, with diverse audiences and competitive environments. Lord Hollick continued: "Manfred's appointment as Chairman of C More will strengthen our Swedish television businesses by maximizing the potential synergies between SBS's pay and free television operations.
