The Complete 2006 BCS Championship Series Available on Commemorative DVDs

NEW YORK, March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- ESPN Home Entertainment and DVD Marketing Inc. will offer fans the opportunity to own commemorative DVDs, featuring commercial-free game footage and exclusive bonus material from the FedEx Orange Bowl, the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and the Nokia Sugar Bowl, starting March 7. The Rose Bowl Game (R), presented by Citi is currently available. Each of the four DVDs will be available at www.espnshop.com and www.championshipdvd.com and select retail stores nationwide. These games will no longer be broadcast on network television.

Fans may relive a bowl game series that featured upsets, surprises and classic matchups, culminating with the Texas Longhorns' victory over the USC Trojans for the 2006 BCS National Championship in the Rose Bowl. DVDs also feature the game pitting coaching legends Joe Paterno of Penn State and Bobby Bowden of Florida State in a triple-overtime game for the Orange Bowl; the Ohio State Buckeyes' third Fiesta Bowl title in four years, vanquishing the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame; and the West Virginia Mountaineers defeating the Georgia Bulldogs to claim the Sugar Bowl, their first January bowl game since 1948.

Each DVD contains a complete BCS championship bowl game, with coverage from ABC Sports, without commercial interruption, presented in full screen (1.33:1) digital video. Chapter points on the DVD allow the viewer to jump directly to the action, quarter by quarter. Exclusive bonus features for each game are:
