HipCricket Chosen By Mark Burnett Productions for 'The Apprentice'

Text Messaging Used as Key Task in Show

ESSEX, Conn., March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- HipCricket, Inc. announced today that they have been selected by Mark Burnett Productions to provide text messaging services for the latest episode of the hit reality show, "The Apprentice." The show airs on March 6, 2006 at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.

The task taken on by the opposing teams on the show is to see which team can get more people to send in a text message for Gillette's new razor, the Fusion. Both teams use HipCricket's proprietary wireless marketing technology to initiate, manage, track and reply to text messages sent to the teams from everyday people.
