THQ Supercross Leads Top Sports Tickets Sold According to TicketsNow Entertainment Index

Football Frenzy and Baseball Fever Follow Close Behind

CHICAGO, Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- THQ Supercross is riding high on the charts as the adrenaline-charged motor sport raced into sold-out stadiums across the country and revved its way to the top of the TicketsNow Entertainment Index for January. THQ Supercross garnered a whopping 6.2% share of all sports tickets sold on TicketsNow.com and an impressive 3.3% of sales overall.

Two home playoff games and the Broncomania caused by Denver's 13-3 regular season record pushed the AFC West Champions to a second place finish in the sports category, which captured 4.1% of sports ticket sales. The Seattle Seahawks finished fifth in the index, accounting for 3.2% of all sports tickets sold. The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox are already on the board, finishing third and fourth, respectively, in the sports category.

"The fervor and loyalty of entertainment fans continue to impress us," said Kenneth Dotson, Chief Marketing Officer for TicketsNow. "We look forward to offering a vast array of exciting and memorable experiences in 2006 -- from opening day of the World Champion Chicago White Sox to the highly anticipated return of The Who."

In January, Broadway smash Wicked was the top overall performer with 6.5% of all tickets sold and 30.9% of theater tickets sold. Billy Joel was the top concert attraction with 10.4% of the musical performance tickets and 2.7% of the overall tickets.
