Philadelphia Mayor John Street to Present His Economic Development Blueprint to the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce

WHAT: Philadelphia Mayor John F. Street will address the regional
business community at the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce
Mayoral Luncheon. The mayor is expected to discuss economic
development issues and his agenda for creating opportunity in
Philadelphia.

In addition to the mayor's address, Comcast Family of Companies,
title sponsor of the Mayoral Luncheon, will announce the recipients
of the Gus Amsterdam Leadership Award. Two Philadelphia high school
students will be honored for their community service and will each
receive $5,000 to be used in pursuit of higher education in the
Philadelphia area.

Attendees at the Mayoral Luncheon are also being encouraged to
donate new books to benefit Philadelphia Reads, whose goal is
to have every child in Philadelphia reading at or above grade level
by the end of third grade.
