Starz Entertainment Group Joins 21st Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival as a Leading Sponsor

Will Host Five Luncheons and Receptions During 11-Day Fest

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- In a continuing effort to strengthen its support and presence at major film festivals around the country, Starz Entertainment Group (SEG) has joined the 21st Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF) as a leading sponsor, during the 11-day event taking place February 2nd thru the 12th.

SEG will sponsor five private luncheons and receptions for members of the film community, to take place after the following panels: Director's Panel: "Director's on Directing," Producer's Panel: "Movers and Shakers," Composer's Panel: "Scoring the Film," Screenwriter's Panel: "It Starts with the Script," Women's Panel: "Creative Forces -- Women in the Business," and the Reel Nature Panel: "Nature on the Big Screen." Many of the big names associated with the year's most successful films will be participating in these panels and Starz is pleased to host them for these luncheons.

In addition to the luncheons, Starz will air two exclusive behind-the-scenes looks at the Festival, including interviews with attending stars and filmmakers, a look at the films and all the "buzz" in Santa Barbara. They will air soon after the Festival on Starz and Starz Cinema.
