Intuit Media Group is proud to announce the sponsorship of a film grant for young up and coming filmmakers based in the IMG motto of socially responsible media. This $50,000 grant entitled "The Intuit Media Group Film Grant" will enable a filmmaker, chosen from a large number of submissions, to create documentary or short subject feature focused on "green" or environmentally/socially conscious issues. Submissions will be accepted beginning in March 2006, and the grant will be awarded in May 2006 at the Cannes Film Festival. The grant competition, production of the film, and premiere of the film will be documented into either a reality TV show or a made-for-TV documentary. A press release outlining this project in detail will be available at The 2006 Sundance Film Festival.
