Comcast Launches TNT in High Definition to Washington Customers

Popular Movies, Sports and Original Programming Now Part of Comcast's High-Definition Lineup

SEATTLE, Jan. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast, the country's leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services, today announced that it is enhancing its robust high-definition (HDTV) service with the addition of Turner Network Television (TNT) beginning Monday, January 23.

The East Coast feed of TNT in HD will be seen 24/7 on channel 662 in Comcast's Washington market, which includes Seattle, Bellevue, Everett, Bellingham, Olympia, Tacoma, Bremerton, Aberdeen, Spokane and surrounding areas.

HDTV technology provides video and audio that is clearer, sharper and more vibrant than previous video transmission systems. The service is available for customers with an HDTV-capable television set utilizing an HD-enabled digital cable set-top box provided by Comcast.
