ANAHEIM, Calif. (Jan. 22, 2006) Disneyland's 50th Anniversary Celebration continues as The Disneyland Resort rolls out a "spotted, blue carpet" in a Hollywood-style premiere for the grand opening of its newest attraction "Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!" at Disney's California Adventure. "Sulley" himself will be on hand to personally greet the celebrities as they board their taxis and travel into the city of "Monstropolis" -- the mission: to get "Boo," the human child, back home safely.

Located in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot section of Disney's California Adventure "Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!" was inspired by the blockbuster Walt Disney Pictures presentation of the Pixar Animation Studios film, "Monsters, Inc." Staying true to the film, the attraction features newly recorded performances by many of the film's original voice talents including Billy Crystal and John Goodman.

Disneyland's 50th Anniversary Celebration continues through 2006.
