Dr. Phil and Family Donate $1 Million to Benefit Foster and Disadvantaged Children

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Jan. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw on behalf of the entire McGraw family announced a personal donation in the amount of $1,000,000 to the Dr. Phil Foundation. This contribution, which was announced on today's DR. PHIL episode entitled "Kids Ask Dr. Phil," also officially kicked off "Dr. Phil's Million Dollar Challenge for the Children." The challenge invites viewers to contribute any amount in an effort to match the donation and raise as much money as possible to benefit foster and disadvantaged children nationwide. Dr. Phil, Robin, Jay and Jordan will be covering all of the administrative costs associated with "Dr. Phil's Million Dollar Challenge for the Children," ensuring that every dollar donated will be used to directly support the needs of children.
