ADDvantage Technologies Group Appoints Hogan & Slovacek As New Independent Auditor
BROKEN ARROW, Okla., Jan. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ADDvantage Technologies Group, Inc. (AMEX:AEY), announced today that its Audit Committee of the Board of Directors appointed Hogan & Slovacek, a member of the BDO Seidman Alliance, as the Company's new independent registered public accounting firm, effective February 2006.
ADDvantage's current auditing firm, Tullius Taylor Sartain & Sartain LLP, will step down upon completion of its review of the Company's first quarter fiscal 2006 reporting period, ended December 31, 2005. On January 17, 2006, Tullius Taylor Sartain & Sartain LLP notified ADDvantage's Audit Committee that its recent decision to resign the account was not the result of any disagreement between the Company and Tullius Taylor Sartain & Sartain LLP on matters of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure or auditing scope or procedures.
