CIBC Capital Partners Invests in Leading Television Search Engine Company

NEW YORK, Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Critical Mention, Inc., a leading provider of television search and monitoring services, today announced that it has raised more than $4 million in a Series B Preferred Stock financing, led by CIBC Capital Partners. Other Series B investors included Silicon Alley Venture Partners, Stonehenge Capital as well as other prior investors.

The new financing will be used to expand Critical Mention's data collection network, increase sales and marketing initiatives and accelerate new product development. Additionally, Critical Mention plans to expand its client services and account management groups to provide enhanced services to its growing list of more than 300 customers.
