SpatiaLight Announces Third Quarter 2005 Results
NOVATO, Calif., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SpatiaLight, Inc. (NASDAQ:HDTV), a leading manufacturer of state of the art liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS) microdisplays, today announced its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2005.
For the quarter ended September 30, 2005, SpatiaLight had revenues of $58,457, as compared with revenues of $268,200 for the same period in 2004. Net loss for the quarter was $3.6 million, compared with a net loss of $2.1 million for the same period in 2004. Net loss per share was $(0.10) for the quarter, compared with $(0.06) for the same period in 2004.
SpatiaLight ended the third quarter with cash and cash equivalents of $720,000, working capital of $1.1 million, stockholders' equity of $37,000 and $10.2 million in long-term convertible debt, net of applicable discounts.
Subsequent to the closing of the third quarter, SpatiaLight raised $2.0 million of additional capital through a private placement of its common shares and warrants.
