Tim McGraw, Faith Hill Voted Sexiest Eyes in Country Music

A recent poll may reveal the secret behind Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's fairy tale marriage -- the couple's eyes. According to a Rohto V. Sexiest Eyes Survey, Country music's most popular couple boasts the sexiest eyes in the industry. The survey was commissioned by The Mentholatum Company. Among women polled, 32 percent said Tim McGraw had the sexiest eyes in country music. McGraw beat out fellow stars Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Brad Paisley. McGraw's wife, superstar Faith Hill, won the hearts of America's men with 34 percent of the vote, outpacing LeAnn Rimes, Martina McBride and Julie Roberts.

Adolescents More Likely to Start Smoking When Exposed to Smoking in Movies

A study released in the journal Pediatrics shows a direct link between viewing smoking in feature films and adolescents who then choose to start smoking. Conducted by Dr. James Sargent at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, New Hampshire, and funded by the National Cancer Institute, the study is the first national study to indicate that young people have a higher risk of lighting up as their exposure to movie smoking increases. According to Exposure to Movie Smoking: Its Relation to Smoking Initiation Among U.S. Adolescents, more than one-third of U-S adolescents between 10 and 14 years old who smoke start smoking as a direct result of exposure to movie smoking. Youth participating in the study were assigned to one of four groups based on the amount of movie smoking to which they were exposed. The findings indicated no distinguishing factor of race or geographical location in regards to youth starting smoking as a result of viewing smoking in the movies and found that as the amount of exposure to smoking in movies increased, the rate of smoking also increased.

INXS 'Switched On' Tour Tickets Sell Quickly; 7 More Concerts Added

Tickets on sale Nov. 11 weekend for Southern swing and 2nd NYC date With a flurry of multiple sell outs for its "Switched On" tour, INXS is adding six more dates in the South -- plus a second night in New York City -- to the first leg of their 2006 North American tour. Tour producers Metropolitan Talent Presents have announced that tickets go on sale the weekend of November 11 for the following INXS concerts: Norfolk, Charlotte, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Clearwater, Boca Raton and New York. Tickets for multi-platinum rock band INXS sold very quickly with some cities selling out within hours. Sales in Toronto were so brisk that a second show was immediately added which also sold out.
