The Company is planning a Grand Opening for its Long Beach location in late January/early February 2006.
Since 1988, El Gallo Giro, with nine restaurants in operation throughout Southern California, has offered traditional Mexican cuisine using the only finest ingredients available, all served in a fun and festive atmosphere that truly captures the heart, soul and flavor of Mexico.
As the premier Mexican restaurant and bakery in Southern California, El Gallo Giro has created unrivaled customer loyalty at its nine Los Angeles-area locations. Some stores are so consistently busy they're open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
El Gallo Giro restaurants offer an abundance of time-honored dishes, including their signature slow-cooked carnitas sold by the pound, tacos, tortas, burritos, guisados, tamales, antojitos, hand-made "tres leche" custom cakes and other traditional Mexican specialties.
The restaurants also feature an Aguas Frescas (fresh fruit drinks) stand, adding another dimension of authenticity and creating a festive focal point in the restaurant. Meanwhile, freshly baked bread and a wide assortment of pastries from the Panaderia complete the experience of a truly traditional Mexican market.
Apart from its incredible menu, El Gallo Giro has earned tremendous loyalty from local communities themselves, developing close relationships with Hispanic cultural organizations, Mexican musical and sports events, and other Hispanic-oriented organizations. The Company also has earned considerable influence with top-level Hispanic celebrities who are often more than willing to contribute to fundraising events.
