FOX 2, Detroit Free Press Join Forces for 'Tribute To Our Troops,' November 10, 10:30 p.m.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- To protect and to serve ... and in many cases, to make the ultimate sacrifice -- those are the responsibilities of our Michigan military troops, and the subject of "Tribute To Our Troops," an original, half-hour FOX 2 News Veterans' Day special that airs Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 10:30 p.m., following FOX 2 News at 10.

The premise, and the inspiration are simple -- and they are one in the same -- to honor those special service men and women who volunteered to protect our freedom and our country. The special features a poignant montage of Detroit Free Press photographs of those Michiganders who are on active duty, who have died in the line of duty or who otherwise answered the call to serve. An encore presentation of "Tribute To Our Troops" airs Saturday, November 12, at 10:30 p.m.
