"VH1 Hollywood Snappers" #101
A glance at the cover pages on any supermarket magazine rack will tell you, the American public has an insatiable appetite for celebrity gossip and photos -- the more candid the better. It's a multi-billion dollar a year industry and a single photo of the right A-lister at the right time could fetch millions of dollars. One dedicated crew of Hollywood photo hounds is determined to give the public what they want and maybe even get rich doing it. In this premiere episode of "VH1 Hollywood Snappers," follow 'Ben' as he outsmarts rival photographers and snags a photo of George Clooney on his motorcycle in Malibu. Then, Ben and his partner 'Rachid' snap Paris Hilton en route to the Kaballah Center in Beverly Hills. As Renee Zellwegger runs errands and hits the local L.A. mall, she's caught in their crosshairs as well. Finally, Ben stakes out the legendary Ivy Restaurant to get a photo of Christina Aguilera. But when he's harassed by a pedestrian who pokes fun at his occupation, Ben almost misses the shot of this pop starlet ... almost.

Up on deck this week: Depeche Mode.
Members David Gahan, Andy Fletcher and Martin Gore visited the VH1 Classic studio to promote their new album "Playing The Angel." The legendary group discussed the creation process of their new record, the overlaying theme of the album, and the impact their individual side projects had on the new record. David Gahan on why Depeche Mode, "There was this underlying feeling of unfinished business. I've always feel like that with Depeche. I feel we've got more to do. And I can't really describe it any better than that. It's like we're not done yet. Martin [Gore] and I will know when it's time to hang up the hat and leave it alone, and not mess with it anymore."
