HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Nov. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Big Screen Entertainment Group is pleased to announce that its venture into direct distribution of its slate of upcoming projects has progressed better than anticipated.

Recent response at this year's American Film Market in Santa Monica, California, attended by the leading international film and television buyers, brought in sales numbers surpassing Big Screen's expectations for its 2006 slate of projects including the supernatural thriller, "Angel's Blood" starring Karen Black, the murder mystery, "The Mirror" with David Carradine and up and comer Paz de la Huerta, the crime drama, "Tool Girls" and the Gus Van Sant produced, "Lightfield's Home Videos", starring Cuba Gooding, Jr., Juliette Lewis, Giovani Ribisi and many more well known stars.

VP of Business Affairs, David Zappone stated, "We are currently in negotiations on all of our future projects for international distribution. Not only are we pleased with the numbers coming in, but also the international response to our upcoming slate affirms that Big Screen is on the right path towards our success in the global marketplace. We are making projects that buyers are looking to acquire." Zappone continued, "BSEG is distributing projects directly to the marketplace which further enhances our company's ability to be a truly international supplier of feature films and television and control the destiny of the company."

Director of Sales, Linda Monterubbio-Whaley, stated that, "In my 14 years of working in distribution, I have never had so many positive responses from International buyers to the upcoming line up and presentation that Big Screen presented at this years AFM."

The romantic comedy, "Dirty Love," BSEG's co-production with Double Down Entertainment and First Look Studios, starring Jenny McCarthy and Carmen Electra hits video stores nationwide on December 6.
