Todd English Named Executive Chef for the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards

NEW YORK, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Internationally renowned chef Todd English has been named Executive Chef for the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards in Miami, Florida on August 28th.

As VMA Executive Chef, English will create a unique culinary experience for the evening and oversee every aspect of food preparation and presentation. The MTV Video Music Awards will broadcast live on Sunday, August 28th. As the Executive Chef of the VMAs, English's responsibilities will include: developing a menu for the awards show, overseeing cuisine at the event, preparing food for the prestigious Golden Circle VIP area and backstage Talent Holding areas, while creating an innovative and fun signature menu that connotes the spirit of the VMAs.

This year's MTV Video Music Awards will be hosted by Diddy at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, FL. Chef English will be serving his original cuisine to this year's nominees, including: Green Day, Coldplay, and Gwen Stefani.

One of the most decorated, respected, and charismatic chefs in the world, Todd English has enjoyed a staggering number of accolades during his remarkable career.
