Screenvision Expands Relationship with Key National Movie Theater Exhibitor, Rave Motion Pictures

Nation's Leading Cinema Advertising Network Deploys Cutting-Edge Digital Technology to All 367 Rave Screens

Deal Strengthens Screenvision's Market Presence in Illinois, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana and Arkansas

NEW YORK, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Further solidifying its leadership in cinema advertising, Screenvision has expanded its relationship with Rave Motion Pictures, the national movie theater owner and operator based in Dallas, Texas. Through this agreement, Screenvision will be installing its High Definition digital cinema technology to carry, with exclusive rights, its preshow advertising across all 367 Rave screens. Digital preshow advertising provides several benefits, such as savings on print and shipping costs, greater flexibility in programming and an enhanced entertainment experience for the viewer with its signature digital pre-show.

As a result of the deal, Screenvision will strengthen its reach in key geographic markets: Illinois, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana and Arkansas, which includes the construction of four new major multiplexes in Houston, TX, Indianapolis, IN, Huntsville, AL and Baton Rouge, LA.

Screenvision continues its nationwide installation of digital technology through digitization of Rave's screens. This investment in Rave's theatres is part of Screenvision's roll out of its High Definition digital system across its network of nearly 15,000 screen network, Phase 1 of which was announced in April this year.

"Screenvision's expansion of its digital network and pre-show into Rave Motion Pictures premium theaters underscores the ongoing success of our plan to digitize screens nationwide and speaks to the strength of our market presence in key geographic areas," stated Darryl Schaffer, Executive Vice President, Theatre Operations and Exhibitor Relations, Screenvision. "Screenvision's High Definition technology and popular pre-show will generate a new stream of revenue for Rave as it has for our other exhibitor partners."

First opened in December 2000, Rave Motion Pictures has ushered in a new era of providing moviegoers with the ultimate theater experience. Its super- modern theaters -- the "oldest" built 4 years ago -- are 16 and 18 screen multiplexes and filled with amenities not found in most theaters today. All Rave Theaters feature a whopping four feet between rows, wall-to-wall screens, 18 inch stadium risers and digital surround sound.

"Rave Motion Pictures prides itself on our new, state of the art facilities. We are a 100% stadium circuit. Our relationship with Screenvision on digital furthers our commitment to high-end technology," stated Brad Warlow, Vice President of Operations for Rave.

"Screenvision continually brings us great local and national advertisers. What's more, the entertainment component of this new content-driven pre-show will be more compelling for our patrons," added Jeremy Devine, Vice President of Marketing for Rave.
