Gay and Lesbian Television Network to Launch Music Publishing Company and Virtual Record Label

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- here!, America's first gay and lesbian television network is delighted to announce the network's new foray into the music industry with here! Tunes.

here! Tunes is a full service music publishing company and virtual record label. The "A&R" for here! focuses on out gay and lesbian artists, however, here! will accept submissions from all friends and supporters of the LGBT community.

here! CEO and Founder, Paul Colichman, the former President of IRS Media, will personally oversee this new project with here! executive, Brian Goldman. Before joining here!, Goldman was a music agent at ICM and also worked at the William Morris Agency.

here! Tunes controls a pipeline of 45-50 films and series via its relationship with here! Networks, differentiating it from other music publishers.

Goldman states, "We have made here! Tunes as artist friendly as possible. By participating in the artist's publishing, we have a vested interest in the artist's success and their career. A typical film or television company licenses a song for a single but does not spend time or money promoting or nurturing the artist's work. We want to help expose the artist not only on here! Networks, but also via the here! website, cell phones, soundtracks, videos and free VOD concerts."

here! Tunes accepts submissions from bands and musicians for consideration in upcoming productions via the here! website (www.heretv.com). As here!'s programming ranges from political talk shows to detective series to gothic horror, the need for musical styles varies widely.
