Global Music International Announces MobileVision Communications Ltd Beijing
China Launched Global's Music Video Programming For Broadcast on China Unicom's Cellular Phone Network
REDDING, Conn., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global Music International, Inc. ("Global") (BULLETIN BOARD: GMUS) , intending to provide music video content to the wireless telecom industry through known content distributors, announced today that MobileVision Communications Ltd. Beijing, China ("MobileVision") has informed Global that MobileVision has launched Global's music video programming on China Unicom's mobile phone network on August 1st. The streaming media service by MobileVision is initially offered as a pilot commercial program without charge. Global agreed to participate in this pilot program by providing the content to MobileVision without charge during this period.

Starting on October 1, 2005, MobileVision intends to charge for the streaming service. The revenue sharing and payment terms between Global and MobileVision will take effect starting on the same date of commercial service. The program will become a subscription-based service as a stand-alone premium channel. MobileVision will also be making available the music video content from Global on its WAP Portal pages http://www.looklook.cn/ and in links contained in its WAP push messages through China Unicom's network.
Global entered into a content license agreement with MobileVision Communications Ltd. Beijing, China for distribution of its music video programming on a subscription basis for broadcast on mobile phones in China on July 13, 2005 (See 8k) 7/15/05. The terms of the agreement give MobileVision the rights, on a non-excusive basis, to distribute Global's music video content and to promote and market Global's music video programming in China. MobileVision will handle all streaming and encoding of Global's content, as well as track, receive and distribute payment to Global on a monthly basis. The term of the agreement is for one year with automatic renewals subject to Global's approval.
Global is a Florida corporation involved in certain segments of the entertainment business. Global is currently web casting its content, consisting of music videos of unsigned artists from around the world, 24/7 through our website http://www.imntv.com/. All artists must execute a license agreement which grants Global the worldwide non-exclusive right to use the licensed work, without limitation, for broadcast on IMNTV.com or any channel which includes IMNTV(TM) content, including wireless and cellular broadcasting. The artists waive all rights for royalty payments of any kind that would normally be paid to an artist. The artists, in exchange, are guaranteed broadcast of their music video on our international network, subject only to the videos meeting Network broadcast standards only. They are broadcast in the order in which they are received.
MobileVision is a leading Service Provider (SP) for audio, video, text, and other digital content over mobile phone networks in China. MobileVision is based in Beijing, China, and fully licensed to provide SP services nationwide on China Unicom and China Mobile's wireless communication networks. MobileVision has aggregated a rich collection of content resources suitable for distribution over mobile phone networks.
