Sundance Channel To Premiere Tom Brokaw Reports: Deep Throat, The Full Story

Feature-Length Version of NBC Documentary To Premiere Wednesday, August 24th at 9:00pm ET/PT

NEW YORK, Aug. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Sundance Channel will premiere the documentary Tom Brokaw Reports: Deep Throat, The Full Story on August 24th, 2005 at 9:00pm ET/PT. Produced by Joe Delmonico, Dan Bregman and Lee Kamlet, this is a feature-length version of Tom Brokaw Reports which originally aired on NBC.

Tom Brokaw Reports brings together Brokaw and Bob Woodward, two-time Pulitzer Prize winner and Assistant Managing Editor of The Washington Post. In this exclusive interview, Woodward talks about his new book, The Secret Man: The Story of Watergate's Deep Throat, and reveals how he cultivated his relationship with Mark Felt, the now-famous Deep Throat, then second-in-command at the F.B.I.; the location of the garage where their secret meetings took place; and how he protected Deep Throat's identity for 33 years. The full-length version features extended interviews with Bob Woodward; former executive editor Ben Bradlee of the Washington Post; Carl Bernstein, who wrote a reporter's assessment for Woodward's The Secret Man; and actor Robert Redford, who played Woodward in All The President's Men.

Tom Brokaw Reports will also air in August on the 26th at 10:00pm, the 28th at 6:00pm, and the 29th at 7:00pm. In September, the documentary is scheduled to appear on the 4th at 10:00am, the 10th at 4:00pm, the 12th at 7:00pm, and the 16th at 6:00pm.
