EMI Music North America Live with Provia's Supply Chain Execution Products

Provia's technology to enable EMI to deliver its product to retail with greater efficiency and at lower cost

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Aug. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Provia Software, a leading provider of supply chain execution (SCE) software solutions, announced that EMI Music North America, home to labels including Blue Note, Capitol Records and Virgin Records, has gone live with Provia's ViaWare WMS (warehouse management), SPS (small parcel shipping), and TMS (transportation management) software product solutions. EMI is using the Provia suite to manage its product shipments to retail from two of the company's North American distribution facilities -- at lower cost, and with greater efficiency.
