Beko Elektronik A.S. Announces a Collaboration With Middleware Vendor Zentek

TOKYO, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Beko Elektronik A.S. today announced a relationship with Zentek Technology Group. The relationship will provide Beko Elektronik with a range of iDTV middleware solutions that will complement Beko Elektronik's in-house technologies and drive leading-edge products for global markets. The initial focus will be on the integration of Zentek's MediaStack Multimedia Home Platform (MHP) technology into Beko Elektronik's STB and TV products.

Beko Elektronik engineers are now working closely with Zentek engineers -- as well as engineers from Skelmir, who provided the Virtual Machine implementation in the Java-based MHP stack -- to develop the first integrated demonstration on a Beko platform, which will be announced soon.
