The Cast of One of the Most Talked About New Teen TV Dramas 'Palmetto Pointe' Attending 'Teen Choice Awards'

Rawlings, Cheerwine, Babylaced, Starr- D, K-SWISS and Some Surf Industry Giant Product Companies Sponsor TV's Hot Teen Drama 'Palmetto Pointe'

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Fans of one of the most talked about teen TV dramas will get a peak at "Palmetto Pointe," stars when they attend the Teen Choice Awards 2005, Sunday, 8 p.m., August 14 on Fox. TV and pop music star Hilary Duff and comedian Rob Schneider are teaming up to host the Seventh Annual Teen Choice Awards.

The Teen Choice Awards will tape August 14 and air August 16 on Fox at 8 p.m. EDT/PDT. Among the night's performers will be Gwen Stefani, who is also up for four awards. In addition, she will be receiving the Visionary Award. Winners are chosen by the fans, who can cast their votes through August 4 at www.teenpeople.com/teenchoice.

Meantime, surfboard giants soon to be announced join Rawlings, Cheerwine, Babylaced, Starr- D, K-SWISS as sponsors of "Palmetto Pointe," TV's hot new teen drama series, which debuts on August 28, airing Sunday nights at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on i, formerly the PAX TV network.

"Palmetto Pointe," (www.palmettopointeTVshow.com) one of the hottest new teen dramas coming to primetime television, just got hotter with the addition of actor Josh Holland. Holland, the New York City native teen heartthrob who was raised in California, became a household name to millions of fans worldwide as Jackson Green on the hit show "USA High" and as Zach Vernon on "Port Charles."

In "Palmetto Pointe" Holland plays Jason Sutton, the hot-headed older brother of Tristan Sutton, played by Timothy Woodward, Jr., the show's lead and producer. Holland's character runs the local Palmetto Pointe hotspot for music and fun, the "City Bar & Grill," the main hangout for the show's central characters. Other stars joining the show include: "Dawson's Creek's" John Wesley Shipp and Nina Repeta; "Cabin Fever's" Cerina Vincent; Gabrielle Carteris of "Beverly Hills 90210," and "One Tree Hill's" Sarah Edwards and Amanda Baker.
