Drew Pearson to Join NBC 5's 'Out Of Bounds With Newy Scruggs'

DALLAS and FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Former Dallas Cowboys great Drew Pearson joins Newy Scruggs when "Out Of Bounds With Newy Scruggs" returns for the 2005 NFL season on Sunday, September 11, 2005, at 10:20 p.m., on NBC 5.

Pearson will offer insight and opinion on the Cowboys and the entire NFL from the perspective that can only come from an NFL insider.

Pearson has a storied history with the Cowboys after being signed as a free agent in 1973. He played eleven years for the team including Super Bowls XX, XXII and XXIII and was selected All Pro in 1974, 1976 and 1977 playing in the Pro Bowl those same years. Pearson caught the famous "Hail Mary pass" so coined by former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach, who threw the desperation pass to win a December 28, 1975 NFC semifinal playoff game.
