HENRY ROLLINS Hits the Road Again for '25 Years of Bullshit'

HENRY ROLLINS Hits the Road Again for '25 Years of Bullshit'

Rob Zombie and Billy Bob Thornton Join 'HENRY'S FILM CORNER' on IFC; Fifth USO Tour Takes HENRY to the South Pacific

LOS ANGELES, June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- HENRY ROLLINS is keeping his bags packed, but unpacking some baggage, as he hits the road later this summer for an IFC-sponsored three-month tour entitled "25 Years of Bullshit." Mixing timely commentary on politics, pop culture, and his most recent exploits with some of his favorite stories from 25 years on the road, HENRY's latest show promises both to incite and offer insight; to enrage and enlighten; to draw both laughs and ire. HENRY continues to strip current events down to their seemingly obvious core, while coming armed and ready with both thoughtfully researched facts and a wealth of personal experience.

HENRY also serves up a fat slice of subversive and topical discussions triggered by films past and present in his IFC TV series HENRY'S FILM CORNER. The show, which premiered in December, airs on the first Saturday of the month, and again as part of the Film Fanatic Friday programming. Recent and upcoming guests include director David Fincher, Michael Madsen (June), Rob Zombie (July) and Billy Bob Thornton (August). The multi-dimensional show combines HENRY's passion for film and his intellectual yet entertaining reviews with uncensored, no-holds-barred debate about films, celebrities, and social and political issues in America.

On June 13, HENRY heads to the South Pacific for an 11-day USO tour. The trek marks HENRY's fifth trip to entertain American troops in less than two years. His previous USO tours have included Afghanistan, Qatar, and Kyrgystan in late 2003; Iraq and Kuwait in May, 2004; Honduras in August, 2004; and Afghanistan in December, 2004.

HENRY the actor appears later this year in The Alibi with Steve Coogan and Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, and has a lead role in the Project Greenlight feature Feast, due out in January, 2006.

In November, HENRY's latest written work, Roomanitarian, will be published by HENRY's own 2.13.61. Beginning with a poem entitled "Walking The Chasm," proceeding into "Ended" -- several short prose pieces reminiscent of his work in Solipsist -- and finishing with a series of mock love letters dubbed "To Ann Hitler With Love," HENRY's stark, no-nonsense style and satiric bent are on full display in this newest offering.

Meanwhile, HENRY's most recent musings and observations -- from last year's "Shock And Awe ... My Ass" tour -- were recently released on DVD. The DVD, simply titled SHOCK AND AWE, was shot in HD at Seattle's Moore Theater, and was released on 2.13.61. HENRY's exceptional travelogues and political commentary cross paths, as he recounts tales from his first USO tour. And, as always, HENRY adds some levity with a self-deprecating look at his personal life.
