NAHJ to Release the Results of its 10th Annual Network Brownout Report at its National Convention

WHY: NAHJ will release the results of its 10th annual Network Brownout
Report during its annual convention held this year in Fort Worth,
Texas. The report details coverage of Latinos on the network
evening news. Media scholar Federico Subervi, along with members
of the NAHJ staff will present the findings of this year's report.
In addition, UCLA Professor Otto Santa Ana will provide the
preliminary findings of a study he is conducting that examines how
Latinos are visually framed in network stories.
NAHJ is the largest membership association for Hispanic journalists in the country. Founded in 1984, NAHJ's mission is to increase the percentage of Latino journalists working in our nation's newsrooms and to improve news coverage of the Latino community.
