The surprise wedding of singer Kenny Chesney (#9) and Renee Zellweger (#43) sparked online interest this week as web users searched for more information about the new couple, pushing them to their first-ever appearances on The Lycos 50. Web users appear far more interested in the groom rather than the bride, as Chesney generates six times more search activity than Zellweger. Meanwhile, actress Angelina Jolie (#10) sees the biggest jump in search interest this week, up 230 percent, due in part to her role as U.N. Goodwill Ambassador. During a highly publicized trip to Pakistan, Jolie was photographed with Afghan refugees, including children, calling attention to the more than three million Afghan refugees living in Pakistan. Also making news this week is former American Idol (#6) contestant, Constantine Maroulis (#20), who re-enters this week's list following news that his band, Pray for the Soul of Betty, has released its first album, featuring Maroulis.
