Clearview Cinemas Enhances Presence on Manhattan's Upper East Side With New York OneTwo Theatre

NEW YORK, May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Clearview Cinemas announced today that it will manage and operate the New York OneTwo Theatre on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Starting Friday, May 13, Clearview will open the doors of this two-screen theatre, which will feature the movies "Crash" and "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."

To enhance the movie-going experience, Clearview will immediately begin making improvements to the theatre, including new seating in both auditoriums.

"We are excited about expanding our presence on Manhattan's East Side. Clearview has been a part of this community for years with the Beekman Theatre and the 1st & 62nd Street Theatre and we look forward to continuing to bring quality movies to this neighborhood," said Doug Oines, vice president of operations for Clearview Cinemas. "This summer, the New York OneTwo theatre will showcase a number of highly anticipated, blockbuster movies including: "The Longest Yard," "War of the Worlds," "Herbie: Fully Loaded" and "Sky High."
