BCE Selects Front Porch Digital for RTL Televizija's Digital Video Archive Implementation

Fifth DIVArchive Win Within the RTL Group

BOULDER, Colo., May 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Incentra Solutions, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: ICEN) today announced that its Front Porch Digital (FPD) Broadcast & Media Division was selected by Broadcasting Center Europe (BCE), an RTL Group company, for a new digital video archive implementation for RTL Televizija, a Croatian television channel that launched on-air operations in 2004. The new channel is using a DIVArchive based digital video archive for news, production and playout.

RTL Televizija is part of the Luxembourg-based RTL Group, Europe's number one in TV, radio, and content with stakes in 26 TV and 24 radio channels in nine countries. Launched on April 30, 2004, RTL Televizija's program grid includes news, tabloid magazines, a daily talk and game show, series, and movies.

Located in Luxembourg, BCE is a major European player providing technical services in the fields of TV, Radio, Telecommunications and IT. BCE was founded in January 2000 as a result of the merger of different technical entities of RTL Group. With a highly qualified staff of 200 broadcast professionals, BCE serves about 400 clients in various sectors, such as TV channels, radio stations, film distributors, producers, advertising companies, telecommunication operators, and public services.

The all-digital RTL Televizija facility, located in Zagreb, represents today the most advanced broadcast technology in Croatia. BCE, acting as the system integrator, has long time experience in tapeless environments and has a DIVArchive system in operation in Luxembourg. With DIVArchive Export/Import capabilities, the corresponding tapes can be exported out of the archive in Luxembourg and imported directly into the new archive in Zagreb, thus avoiding expensive video-tape copying and lengthy re-ingest operations.
