Teen Speaks Out in Song for Terri Schiavo

MANDEVILLE, La., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- While the country debates the fate of Terri Schiavo, 19 year-old singer/songwriter Kara Klein has taken a stand for Terri's cause with the release of a musical tribute entitled "Beautiful Still-Terri's Song". The song, which can be previewed on Klein's website at http://www.karaklein.com/, will be used as a national fundraiser for the Terri Schindler-Schiavo Foundation. In addition to Terri's Foundation, proceeds will go to support legislation which ensures that human life is protected from conception until natural death.

The teen, inspired by the relentless pursuit of the Schindler family to preserve the life of their daughter, recorded the song to highlight her belief that even the weakest and most vulnerable members of society have a valuable contribution to make. "Who could possibly measure the impact Terri Schiavo has had in teaching others the true meaning of love?" said Klein. "Though she is disabled," continued the singer, "Terri is still beautiful and valuable when seen through the eyes of love. That's the message of the song."
