Sean 'Hollywood' Hamilton Named New Morning Show Host at K-EARTH 101-FM
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Major market radio veteran Sean "Hollywood" Hamilton has been named as the new morning show host for radio station K-EARTH 101.1 FM. Joining Hamilton on-air will be his former sidekick and producer Dr. George Brothers starting Monday, February 21. Dr. George Brothers worked with Hamilton at other stations as a producer and on-air talent, a role he will reprise on the Hollywood Hamilton Morning Show at K-EARTH 101-FM.

Already known in Southern California as a high-energy personality, Hollywood Hamilton has been one of the most recognizable names in radio from coast-to-coast. Previously, Hamilton achieved #1 ratings for his shows at Z-100, New York and KIIS, Los Angeles, and was morning show host of WKTU in New York. Hamilton will continue to produce and host the successful Hollywood Hamilton's Weekend Top 30, a nationally syndicated three-hour radio program showcasing the week's hottest music and interviews. He will continue to executive produce two pilots entitled, "29 Minutes and Counting," for Court TV.

At age 19, Hollywood delivered the #1 rated nighttime radio show at Z-100 in New York where he was on the air from 1983-1987, and when the station was the hottest place to be heard in the Big Apple. He continued to generate that same excitement when he moved to Los Angeles to work early evenings at KIIS-FM from 1987-1994.
In 1996, Hollywood relocated to New York WKTU radio to work on the station's evening show. Hamilton was awarded WKTU's top morning time slot due to the incredible success of his evening show.
This multi-talented artist has pursued other stimulating opportunities within the entertainment industry. His production company, Hollywood Hamilton Entertainment, is developing innovative television programming. In 1983 while at Z-100, Hollywood created the enormously popular radio show "Lovelines" which was sold to MTV and the show became an instant hit.
Hamilton has had the opportunity to act on TV and in motion pictures and is interested in pursuing diversified acting opportunities. His credits include: KISS ME GUIDO, ON THE BURN, guest-starring roles on BAYWATCH, ONE LIFE TO LIVE, co-hosting THE NEW GONG SHOW, STUDS, MTV and VH-1 shows, judging MISS TEEN USA, among others. His commercial credits include: Pepsi, Doritos, Levi's, M&M's, among others.
Hamilton currently resides in Los Angeles.
Morning show sidekick Dr. George began his radio career began in 1983 at Z-100, New York, where he co-hosted and produced the original "Lovelines" call-in show. In 1987, Dr. George relocated to KIIS-FM in Los Angeles where he became a producer and air talent with Hollywood Hamilton and later became producer of the Rick Dees Morning Show and assistant promotions director for the station. In 1997, he became Director of Public Affairs for Infinity Broadcasting's, 94.7 KTWV, "The WAVE," Los Angeles and also co-produced the Dave Koz morning radio show.
Dr. George Brothers, currently resides in Malibu, CA.
Current morning show host, Gary Bryan, will move to 2 pm - 6 pm; "Shotgun Tom" Kelly will move to 6 pm - 10 pm and Christina Kelley will move to 10 pm - 2 am.
K-EARTH 101-FM is owned by Infinity Broadcasting, a division of Viacom Inc. with 183 radio stations, primarily in the Top 50 markets of the United States.
