Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri Will Not Make an Appearance at the Willie Gary Celebrity Scholarship Party During Super Bowl XXXIX
STUART, Fla., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Famed attorney and philanthropist Willie Gary announced today, that singer/actress Janet Jackson and super- producer Jermaine Dupri will not be participating in the upcoming Celebrity Scholarship Party scheduled to take place Saturday, February 5, 2005 during the Super Bowl XXXIX festivities. In the spirit of excitement in attempting to confirm Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri, a press release stating their participation was issued prior to written or verbal confirmation from either party. Although Ms. Jackson and Mr. Dupri will be unable to attend the event, they wished Willie Gary and the Willie E. Gary Football Classic Foundation well in their scholarship fundraising efforts.
It is the sincere hope that Willie Gary and the Willie E. Gary Football Classic Foundation will be able to use Super Bowl XXXIX as a means to make a difference in the lives of less fortunate youth. However, if anyone has purchased a ticket in anticipation of seeing either of these celebrities, the Willie E. Gary Football Classic and the Gary Foundation will issue a refund for tickets purchased.
