Excitement to Spare in Denny's Partnership With The Professional Bowlers Association

As part of a new 2005 sponsorship agreement, the Professional Bowlers Association has renamed its most prestigious tournament the PBA Denny's World Championship and designated Denny's the "Official Restaurant of Bowling."

The PBA Denny's World Championship begins on March 26 in Taylor, Michigan. Bowling fans across the country will be watching the final two days of competition at Eastern Michigan University's Convocation Center in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The finals on Sunday, April 3, will be shown on ESPN at 1 p.m. (EST).
The Denny's bowling team consists of Jason Hurd, the 2004 PBA Pepsi Open champion, Rick Lawrence, winner of the 2004 PBA BowlersParadise.com Open, and Brian LeClair. Lawrence and Hurd rank in the top 15 on the 2004-05 PBA Tour Rankings. Denny's sponsored bowlers will wear the Denny's logo on their shirt backs and right sleeves and throw specially-made spare balls emblazoned with the Denny's logo.
