XA to Produce 2005 GLAAD Media Awards

More Than 5,000 People to Attend the Three Ceremonies

CHICAGO, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- XA, Inc., (OTC BB: XAIN), a major national event marketing firm that serves many Fortune 500 companies, announced today they have been named event agency of record for the 2005 GLAAD MEDIA AWARDS, the annual ceremony honors the media that most fairly and accurately represents the lesbian, gay bisexual and transgender community.

XA will produce these prestigious events in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The 16th Annual GLAAD Media Awards will be televised in spring 2005. The announcement was made at the summer 2004 Television Critics Association meeting in Los Angeles.

The GLAAD Media Awards are held yearly on the East and West Coasts to recognize and honor the media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the LGBT community and the issues that effect their lives. The event recently honored Sex and the City, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Bend It Like Beckham, Univision's Primer Impacto, and ABC's Primetime Thursday. Past special honorees have included Ellen DeGeneres, Elizabeth Taylor, Rosie O'Donnell, Antonio Banderas, Diane Sawyer, Eric McCormack, Paris Barclay, and Julianne Moore. The GLAAD Media Awards also honor achievements in theater, music, print media, and advertising.
