Deal With C-Valley Expands THQ Wireless' Distribution Into One of the World's Largest Mobile Markets

CALABASAS HILLS, Calif., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- THQ Wireless Inc., a subsidiary of THQ Inc. (NASDAQ:THQI), is building market share in the growing Chinese wireless market by investing in C-Valley, one of China's leading wireless content distributors. The deal expands THQ Wireless' global distribution to new carriers such as China Unicom, one of the three largest mobile operators in the world. In addition, C-Valley plans to manage the localization, porting and distribution of THQ Wireless' wide range of wireless entertainment content based on top entertainment brands and sports leagues.
