Manhattan Associates Strengthens and Realigns Its Leadership Team
Organizational Adjustments Position Company for Continued Growth
ATLANTA, Jan. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Manhattan Associates(R), Inc. (NASDAQ:MANH), the global leader in providing supply chain execution and optimization solutions, has announced that it is expanding its executive leadership team in order to further enhance its position as the global leader of supply chain execution and optimization solutions. The realignment will serve to help the company better meet customer needs and leverage core competencies.

"To further capitalize on our leadership position and growth prospects, we have added three talented executives to our management team and realigned parts of our organization. Our goal in 2005 is to continue to strengthen our relationships with customers so that we can better develop and deliver solutions that meet their needs, while also leveraging the tremendous resources that we have worldwide to improve efficiency, quality and service. The executive leadership team that has been assembled and the realignment of resources is exactly what we need to take this company to the next level," he continued.
Effective immediately, all field operations will be organized by three geographic regions to further strengthen relationships with customers: the Americas; Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA); and Asia Pacific (AP). Additionally, all internal resources that will benefit from economies of scale will be consolidated into functional organizations. The company's global research and development resources and its global marketing resources will operate as single units.
Jeff Mitchell, who has operated as executive vice president of sales and marketing, will serve as executive vice president for the Americas. He is now responsible for all sales and service operations in North, Central and South America.
Jeff Baum will continue in his role as senior vice president of International, with responsibility for all sales and service operations in EMEA and Asia Pacific.
Pervinder Johar is now senior vice president and chief technology officer, expanding his current role as senior vice president of development and services for transportation. Mr. Johar oversees all of the company's research and development activities. Bringing each of its research and development groups together will significantly improve the company's overall R&D effectiveness. As part of this reorganization, Ramesh Srinivasan is resigning from Manhattan Associates.
Larry Ferrere, vice president and chief marketing officer, is responsible for all marketing and communications programs around the globe.
As announced in a separate press release this morning, Steve Norton will join Manhattan Associates as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Mr. Norton joins Manhattan Associates from Concurrent Computing where he spent the last five years as executive vice president and CFO. Mr. Norton has more than 20 years of experience in financial management.
Ed Quibell, who has been Manhattan Associates' CFO for the past two years, will become senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions, and business performance improvement. In this role he will lead M&A activity and oversee overall business process improvement. Mr. Quibell joined Manhattan Associates in an operating role in 2001 and assumed the CFO position in 2002.
Earlier this month, Jeff Cashman joined Manhattan Associates as vice president, business development, alliances and strategy. He is responsible for developing new business opportunities, overseeing strategic alliances and helping shape strategic direction. Mr. Cashman has more than 20 years of supply chain experience. He most recently served as vice president and general manager of international operations for MAPICS, a company that specializes in ERP software solutions for manufacturing companies. Prior to this role, he was MAPICS' vice president of professional services and their chief marketing officer. Mr. Cashman has held senior executive positions at Viewlocity and McHugh Software, and started his career with more than a decade of experience at Accenture in its distribution/logistics software organization and supply chain strategy practices.
In December, Diane Tuccito joined Manhattan Associates as vice president of global human resources. Ms. Tuccito has more than 20 years of human resources leadership experience. Most recently, she was the vice president of human resources for Answerthink, Inc., an ebusiness consulting company.
David Dabbiere remains in his role as senior vice president and chief legal officer and Eddie Capel will continue as senior vice president of global product management.
